Cover Retraction

When the cover is fully closed, the first panel behind the cab (E) is held in the up position by two gas springs. To begin the
retraction process, push down on the hinge between the first and second panel (F). The panels will fold together as you
compress the gas springs. Gently guide the remaining panels forward. The long bearings will ride forward along the rails.

The short bearings (G) will descend through the rail notch (H). The short bearings will then ride down the ramp (I) until
each panel is folded. When fully retracted, the panels will all hang from the rails on the long bearings (J).
Cover Extension
To extend the cover to the closed position, pull on the strap slowly toward the tailgate. The short bearings will ride up the
ramp until they are on the rails. To complete the extension process, the gas springs will push the first panel behind the
cab into the up position.
