Short and Long Bearings
The retractable cover panels (A) rest on the rails (B) with two types of bearings: Long bearings (C) & Short bearings (D).
When the cover is closed, both the long and short bearings rest on the rails. When the cover is open, the short bearings
hang down in the bed and the long bearings support the panel assembly.
