Meaning of bit B:
B = 0 Single AS-i slave or A-slave
B = 1 B-slave
10.3.5.11 Read parameter (READ_PI: Read_Parameter)
This call returns the current parameter value (actual parameter) of an AS-i slave
sent by the AS-i/PROFIBUS Gateway. This value must not be confused with the
parameter echo that is supplied by the AS-i slave as a response to the write_p job.
This command can not be used for a directly reading of an AS-i parameter out of
an AS-i slave.
Meaning of bit B:
B = 0 Single AS-i slave or A-slave
B = 1 B-slave
10.3.5.12 Set permanent parameter (SET_PP)
With this call, a parameter value for the specified AS-i slave is configured. The val-
ue is stored permanently in the EEPROM of the gateway.
The configured parameter value is transferred only when the AS-i slave is activat-
ed after turning on the power supply on the AS-i/PROFIBUS Gateway.
