Saving Other Files to the
veu
You can also save other file formats to the memory on the
veu
, such as documents, PowerPoint
presentations, spreadsheets, music and videos. These file types are only visible by the computer
source through the USB cable. Use a simple “Drag and Drop” action or Copy and Paste to add or
remove other files to the
penveu
device.
Notes:
Do not attempt to SAVE (capture) images while moving files to the
penveu
drive.
DO NOT Capture an image using the
penveu
system
while the PC is SAVING a file.
Use the
pen
in mouse mode to open files and launch applications. You can display
any
file from
your computer and use
penveu
to make notations on the display, but remember that the
writing is “virtual.” If you make notations on the display, you can save captured images with
penveu
and the original files remain intact (unchanged). The
penveu
does not alter the original
file.
NOTE: Choosing the appropriate FILE ACCESS Setting
See
for detailed information
The
penveu
system
has an 8GB or 32GB storage embedded in the
veu
. It is where the saved
images are stored, and where the user can save their own user files.
To access the storage via the USB cable, the
storage
needs to be accessible to the computer.
Use the FILE ACCESS settings to make sure that the computer has access to the embedded
storage.
In the
menu
User Interface,
go to SETTINGS / FILE ACCESS and choose either:
BOTH
Commonly used with Windows machines. The storage will be accessible both the
veu
and
the computer connected through the USB port.
PC
Commonly used with Linux machines. The storage will be accessible to the computer
only. Therefore, the
veu
will not be able to access the storage to SAVE additional
captured images.
