Common Operations
With the Optio E60, the Face Recognition function is available with all
shooting modes except
O
(Voice Recording).
In the Face Recognition function, the camera automatically recognizes
the subject’s face, focuses (Face Recognition AF), and compensates the
exposure (Face Recognition AE) when capturing images. Even when
there are multiple faces, the camera will recognize the main subject's
face and make suitable adjustments automatically. The subject is given
a brighter and healthier look.
By default, the Face Recognition function is set to Face Priority On. The Face
Recognition function is switched as follows each time the
I
button is pressed:
Face Priority Off

An icon indicating Face Priority On appears on the display. (The icon
does not appear when Face Priority Off is selected.)
