Taking Pictures
Available in
(Half-length Portrait),
(Portrait) and
(Kids) are suitable for
taking pictures of people. Face Recognition (p.51) is automatically
activated for these shooting modes, making it easier to emphasize the
subject’s face when taking pictures.

The shooting mode is selected and the
camera returns to capture status.
When the camera recognizes the subject's
face, a yellow focus frame with the brackets
appears on it within the display.
If there are more than two subjects, the
camera first recognizes the main subject's
face and a yellow focus frame with the
brackets appears on it, and a white focus
frame appears on the faces of the other
subjects.
The size and location of the focus frame
change while the camera continues to
adjust the focus on the moving subject’s
face.
