3.2 Mixed dust containing metal and sanded damp surfaces
With mixed dust containing metal (such as dust resulting from car paint ) and when sanding damp surfaces,
the following measures must be followed for safety reasons :
- Install an upstream circuit breaker (GFCI, PRCD)
- Connect the machine to a suitable vacuum cleaner
- Blow out the engine housing regularly to remove dust.
4. Intended use
The sanding tool is designed for sanding wood , plastic, composite, paint/varnish, fillers and similar materials
according to the instructions. With mixed dust containing metals (e.g dust resulting from painting in the
automotive industry) and when sanding damp surfaces, special safety instructions must be followed. The
sanding tool is not intended to be suitable for sanding bare metal. Materials containing asbestos cannot be
treated.
The user is responsible for incorrect or unintended use.
