4) Usage of power tools
a) Do not push the power tool. Use the right tool for the area of application. The correct power tool makes the
job better and safer at the pace for which it was designed.
b) Do not use the tool if the circuit-breaker does not turn on and off. A power tool that cannot be regulated
with the circuit-breaker is dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Unplug the power source and/or the battery from the power tool before you do any adjustments or change
accessories. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of the tool starting by mistake.
d) Keep the power tool out of reach of children and do not let inexperienced persons use the tool. Power tools
are dangerous in the hand of unskilled users.
e) Take care of power tools. Check that wrong parts are not damaged, such parts can affect the function of
the power tool. If it is damaged, repair the tool before use. Many accidents occur because of poorly
maintained power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less
likely to pinch and are easier to steer
g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool pieces etc. in accordance with these instructions and in the
manner intended for the type of working conditions and the work to be performed. Using the power tool for
operations that differ from those intended can result in a dangerous situation.
5) Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repairer with only identical spare parts. This ensures that the
safety of the power tool is maintained.
2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL APPLICATIONS
a) This power tool is intended to work as a sanding tool. Read all the safety instructions, illustrations and
specifications that come with this power tool. Failure to follow all instructions may result in electric shock,
fire and/or serious injury.
b) Actions such as brushing, polishing or cutting are not recommended with this power tool. Applications for
which the power tool was not designed for can create a hazard and cause personal injury.
c) Do not use accessories that are not specially designed and recommended by the tool manufacturer. Just
because the accessory can be attached to the power tool does not guarantee safe operation
d) The nominal speed of the accessory must be at least equal to the maximum speed marked on the power
tool. Accessories that go faster than their nominal speed can break and fly away.
e) The outer diameter and thickness of your accessory must be within the framework of the capacity of your
power tool. Accessories that are not in the correct size cannot be adequately protected or controlled.
f) Threaded mounting of accessories must match the rethreaders. For accessories that are mounted on
flanges, the bore hole in the accessory must fit the location diameter of the flange. Accessories that do not
match the power tool will be out of balance, vibrate too much and may cause loss of control.
g ) Do not use a damaged accessory. Before each use, inspect the accessory such as sanding pad for
splinters and cracks, back plate for cracks or excessive wear, wire brush for loose or broken threads. If
the power tool or accessory has been dropped, inspect it for damage or replace and install an undamaged
accessory. After inspecting and assembling the accessories, place yourself and employees away from the
rotating tool and run the tool at maximum speed without any load for one minute. Damaged accessories
will normally shatter during this test period.
h) Use protective equipment. Depending on the application, wear a mask or goggles. Wear a suitable dust
mask, hearing protection, gloves and workshop apron that can stop small abrasives or fragments from the
workpiece. The eye protection must be able to stop splinters generated by various operations. The dust
mask or the respirator must be able to filter particles generated by your application. Long-lasting exposure
to high-intensity noise can cause hearing loss.
