Follow these steps to use the template to draw a

Use the % slope tool as a protractor to create a
desired percentage of slope.

Use the pipe end view cutouts to draw end
views of lines of pipe on the slope.

Use the % slope tool to add the same
percentage of slope line as used in step 1 over the top of
the sloped pipes.

Add a slope ratio line to each side of the
system.

The bend tools indicate the

Template 1A
2003 is a drawing aid for our septic system designs.
This tool is used to accurately draw pipe and system
layouts in top and end views, and also to draw
sloping and curved configurations.
Prerequisite
System length and pipe spacing are required to use
this template. Use our “Enviro-Septic
®
& Simple-
Septic
®
Leaching Systems Design and Installation
Manual” and your State Attachment to calculate these
figures and other essential data.
