STEP ONE:
Posi4on each reinforcer box over or near the le8 and right
sound field speakers.
Moun4ng these boxes to the wall of the sound room can be done by one
of these four op4ons:
1) Using op4onal Dual Arm moun4ng brackets (DUA-001)
2) Using self tapping screws through predrilled holes on back of box
3) Using Velcro or double back tape to mount to top of loudspeakers.
4) Use op4onal corner moun4ng brackets (INS-KIT2) for moun4ng box-
es in the corners of the sound booths.
STEP TWO:
Insert cables for power and IR sensors into bo+om of each
VRA box connector block. (See LEGEND) The high power IR LEDs will
flood a room with infra-red light reflec4ons to ac4vate the boxes even if
they are not directly pointed at the reinforcer box.
STEP THREE:
Placement of IR sensors
IS CRITICAL
for op4mal pickup.
Posi4on IR sensor higher up on wall or window where the remote con-
trol is typically pointed when used
TYPICALLY THE IR SENSORS ARE
ROUTED THROUGH THE JACK PANEL TO THE TEST BOOTH AND POSI-
TIONED NEAR THE AUDIOMETER.
NOTE: Each box has built in IR sensor
to ac4vate units in the sound booth with the remote control.
STEP FOUR:
Mount centering box in between units onto wall using self
tapping screws through the eyelet holes in back of box or double back
tape to hold into posi4on. Insert RCA cable into bo+om jack on either
XM-5000 unit to operate with remote control.

TO UNPACK SYSTEM:
1) Li8 top cover off and remove packing bubbles around toys.
Check for toy posi4on as they are mounted on magnets and
can be moved to face any direc4on. Re-a+ach s4cker if off.
2) Li8 front plexiglass window up and out of front lip of the
enclosure to remove protec4ve covering and replace in posi-
4on careful of ribbon cable a+ached to board in lower le8
side. Tuck cable back into box upon reposi4oning window.
Replace top cover and proceed to installing system.
