Audio Measurement (dB)
The measurement method is similar to the method for measuring ACV. If the circuit under test
includes a DC part, a DC-blocking capacitor with a capacity of 0.1uF and a withstand voltage
greater than 500 should be connected in series.
•
Switch the device to 10V on the ACV range
•
Measure the dB and read the result on the dB scale (14)
The dB scale shows dB levels from -10bD to ~22dB. For ranges exceeding the scale, the actual
dBV should be converted according to the table below.
