First Use
This chapter outlines the steps to unpack the Model
BAS002 Power Amplifier and prepare it for first use.
Preparing for first use includes the following:
• Unpacking and inspection
• Assembling the amplifier and speaker
• Installing the remote control battery
• Powering-up the Model BAS002
Unpacking and Inspection
Your BAS002 has been shipped in
protective packaging. Please verify
that the package contains the items
listed below. Retain the packaging
for safe shipment for calibration
service. Report any damage or
shortage immediately to PCB

• BAS002 Power Amplifier
• Amplifier hardcase (17x21x9)
• ISM antenna
• Hand-held remote control
• USB device
• Power supply cable
• CBL182 Speakon cable
• Ethernet cable
• PP3 9V battery
Please record the purchase date, the
model and serial numbers for your
amplifier, sources and remote
control in the spaces provided on the
copyright page. You will find model
and serial numbers on the labels on
the back of the devices. The amplifier display screen is covered with a protective
film. Carefully peel it off without using a scratching tool.
