Performing a EBT Cash Sale with cashback 

Note: The PAX PX5 must have cashback prompt set to on to order for cashback to work.

Ring up a sale in CRE then hit the 
PAY button. From the amount 
tendered screen, select EBT. 

 
 
**NOTE** Tax Is not Exempt from EBT 
Cash Sales.

Select EBTCash

On the PX5, you may select No 
Thanks! For Cashback or select a 
Cash back Amount. 

In this example, we’ll select $10.00 for 
cash back amount.

Verify the amount with cashback 
then Swipe the EBT card on the 
right side of the PX5 with the 
stripe facing down and towards 
the device.
