Fläkten är kullagrad och kan därmed monteras lägesoberoende.

inbyggd varvtalsregulator och termostat för värmetransport mellan rum, olika våningar etc.
OBS att dragning av kanaler genom brandcell, t.ex. pannrum eller garage inte är tillåtet.

Det finns även ett vred för fläktens hastighet (flöde), med hjälp av den kan man öka eller minska
luftflödet till den plats man vill flytta varmluften. Se bild .
Placera fläkten högt för bästa avkänning då termostaten är inbyggd i fläkthuset.
Tänk på värmestrålningen från ev. braskamin så fläktens max temperatur 35
Borra ett litet "styrhål" ca. Ø 5 mm rakt genom väggen där fläkten ska sitta.
Borra ett hål Ø 110 mm med en hålsåg genom väggen.
Sluta borra ca. 20-30 mm innan hålsågen går igenom helt och borra sista delen från andra hållet.
I annat fall skadas lätt hålets kant.
Sätt ihop rör och innerväggsgallret.
Täta skarvarna med fuktbeständig tejp eller tätmassa.
Kapa röret vid behov på väggens insida.
Lossa fläkten från monteringsramen genom att skjuta låsknapparna i pilens riktning, se fig. B1:1.
Drag därefter fläktdelen rakt ut från monteringsramen, se fig. B1:2. Lossa skruven A5:1 för att frigöra
monteringsramen från kåpan. Placera den så den kommer mitt i kanalen där fläkten skall monteras,
märk in och ta upp skruvhålen. Montera medlevererad cellgummilist i spåret på ramens baksida samt
klistra fast bifogad tätningslist enligt figur A6:1. För in fläkten i kanalen och skruva fast enligt figur
Vid fast installation ska en allpolig strömställare med min. 3 mm brytavstånd monteras. Allpolig
strömställare finns även som tillbehör för inbyggnad i fläkten.

-märkt och skall ej jordas.
Fläktens monteringsram är försedd med utslagsöppningar för dold elanslutning
via rör i vägg, se höger fig A. Utanpåliggande kabel ansluts i fläktens ovandel.

Fläkten bör rengöras 2 gånger per år vid normal användning eller vid behov oftare. Bryt strömmen
innan rengöring påbörjas. Demontera fläkten från ramen genom att skjuta låsknapparna i pilens
riktning enligt instruktion B1:1. Drag där-efter fläktdelen rakt ut från monteringsramen B1:2.
Insugsöppningen och fläkten med vinge torkas av med fuktad trasa och diskmedel.

För att snabbt erhålla maximalt luftflöde utan att ändra vredet kan fläkten kopplas enligt alternativ E2.
För maximalt luftflöde slås brytaren “max luftflöde” till. OBS ! Då brytaren “max luftflöde” är tillslagen
är termostaten satt ur funktion.

NOTE! The fan part must not be immersed in water or rinsed in running water.
NOTE that routing of ducts through a fire cell, i.e. boiler/furnace room or garage, is not permitted.
The fan is of the insert type and can be installed in ventilation ducts with minimum 100 mm inside
diameter.
With the control for activation temperature you select the temperature when you want the fan to start,
see fig.
The fan starts when the set temperature is reached, and stops when the temperature drops below the
set temperature.
There is also a control for fan speed (flow), with which you can increase or decrease air flow to the
place you want to move the warm air. See fig. .
NOTE! When the
switch “max. air flow” is on, the thermostat is non-functional.
Drill a small "guide hole" approx. Ø 5 mm straight through the wall where the fan is to be installed.
Drill a hole Ø 110 mm with a hole-cutting saw through the wall.
Stop drilling approx. 20-30 mm before the hole-cutting saw goes through completely, and drill the last
part from the other side. Otherwise, the edge of the hole is easily damaged.
Assemble the duct and inside wall grating.
Seal the joints with moisture-proof tape or sealing compound.
If needed, cut the duct on the inside of the wall.
Disconnect the fan from the attachment frame by pushing the lock buttons in the direction of the
arrow, see fig. B1:1. Then pull the fan part straight out from the attachment frame, see fig. B1:2.
Loosen the screw A5:1 to disconnect the attachment frame from the cover. Place it so that it ends up
centred in the duct where the fan is going to be installed, mark up and make holes for the screws.
For permanent installation, a double-step switch with min. 3 mm gap must be installed. The double-
step switch is also available as an accessory for inclusion in the fan (see accessories).
The fan is
-marked and should not be grounded.
The fan’s attachment frame has break-out openings for concealed electric connection via a pipe in the
wall, see right fig. A. Surface-routed cable is connected in the top part of the fan.

The fan should be cleaned 2 times per year for normal use, more often if needed.
Disconnect the electric power supply before starting to clean. Disconnect the fan from the frame by
pushing the lock buttons in the direction of the arrow, see instruction B1:1. Then pull the fan part
straight out from the attachment frame B1:2. The inlet opening and fan with impeller should be wiped
off with a damp cloth and dishwashing liquid.

Turning clockwise: Fan starts at a higher temperature.

Turning counter-clockwise: Fan speed/flow decreases.
PAX 250 is an extremely quiet and effective fan with high capacity, and it is easy to install
and clean. The fan has ball bearings, which enables mounting in any position.
The PAX 250 Kit contains 300 mm ( 100 mm) wall duct, wall grating as well as a complete
warm air transfer unit with built-in speed controller and thermostat for transport of warm air between
rooms, levels, etc.
. The difference between cut-in and cut-out temperature is 4 C. (Hysteresis)
To obtain maximum air flow quickly without adjusting the control, the fan can be connected according
to alternative E2. For maximum air flow, move the switch “max. air flow” to On.
Position the fan up high for optimal sensing as the thermostat is built into the fan housing.
Keep in mind the heat radiation from e.g., an cast iron woodstove, so that the fan's max. temperature
of 35 C is not exceeded.
Install the supplied cellular rubber strip in the groove on the rear of the frame and attach the supplied
sealing strip according to figure A6:1.
NOTE! The fan requires a flat wall. Check with mounted motor unit that the fan blade can rotate
freely. Adjust by loosening or tightening any of the screws B2:2.
