Ensure that the steel beam

has a
diameter of 46 x 46 mm, a wall thick-
ness of at least 2.3 mm and a length
of at least 450 mm.

Before use
1.
Install the cable hoist to a steel beam
3
that is designed and securely anchored to
withstand the double nominal load capac-
ity. Ensure that the appliance is installed
level and not slanted.

Prior to use, you should familiarize your-
self with the function of the cable hoist
and use it without load. Check especially:

the operating switch

for controlled
hoisting and lowering of load hook

the flexibility of up limit bracket

the flexibility of down limit bracket

the steel rope for damages (see STEEL
CABLE).

Never use the appliance for more than
2 min at a time with the rated max. load.
After 2 min of operation, let it cool down
for 8 min before using it again. Otherwise,
a temperature switch will shut down the
motor if overheated.

Make sure that the steel cable can not be
moved more than 15° to the side.

Attention: In case of direct exposure to
sunlight, the point of overheating may be
reached earlier.

Keep as far away as pos-
sible from load and steel cable dur-
ing operation!
Intended use
The cable hoist is intended for lifting and low-
ering loads in a vertical line. It is designed only
for domestic use. It is not intended for com-
mercial continuous applications. It must not
be used for lifting, carrying or transporting
persons! Any use or modification of the cable
hoist not specified in this manual is consid-
ered as improper use and could cause consid-
erable dangers.
