Procedure for machine preparation to operation:
- disconnect all cables from the wire feeding mechanism;
‐ insert the torch cable into the source socket

- screw the gas plug from the argon torch tightly to the socket

- insert the socket of the torch control buttons to the socket

‐ insert the “earth” cable into the source socket
А “+”
;
‐ connect the “earth” cable to the work piece;
- install the pressure reducer on the gas bottle;
- connect the torch gas hose to the gas bottle pressure reducer and the plug

on the rear panel of the source;
- open the gas bottle valve, check the tightness;
‐ connect the mains plug of the source to the supply mains;
‐ set power switch

on the rear panel to position “I”;
‐ set the TIG welding mode by pressing the button

, for this it is necessary to
hold it for about 5 seconds. The indicator will start blinking, informing the user
that it is ready to switch to the next welding mode. You can return to it in the
same way, and if you skipped the required welding mode, press button

again—the modes switch over end‐around;
‐ set the function of the button of the TIG‐4T torch by pressing button

until
the indicator shows [But], in 1s after the button is released, the machine will
display current positions of this function: use buttons
2
to set it to [4t]. If
nothing is done for a long time, the machine will leave this function. You can
return to it in the same way, and if you skipped the required welding mode,
press button

again—the modes switch over end‐around;
‐ use buttons
2
to set the main parameter, which is arc current;
‐ if necessary, additional functions of welding process can be adjusted—see a
changeover sequence in Clause 6.1.
