Recommended Fasteners
• Metal studs Expanding metal screws or butterfly bolts.
• Wood studs Minimum of 5 cm long metal fasteners with self-tapping threads
suitable for soft material.
• Sheet metal walls a minimum of 1/8-inch [3 mm] thick steel or aluminum) Machine
screws of 5 -6 mm diameter. The screws must be long enough to pass completely
through the wall material.

To attach the chassis to the wall:

Install the fasteners to the wall leaving space between the wall surface and the head
of the screw slightly greater than the thickness of the chassis.

Hang the chassis on the fasteners by passing the fastener heads through the keyhole
slots in the back of the chassis.

Tighten the fasteners until the chassis is firmly attached to the wall. There should be
no movement at all when the corners of the chassis are pulled away from the wall.
Connecting the MiniCapt to an Ethernet Network
You can connect the MiniCapt Remote Microbial Air Sampler to an Ethernet network.

To connect the Ethernet cable to the MiniCapt:

Locate an Ethernet cable for your installation.

Locate the Ethernet port on the back of the chassis (shown in
2-5).

Insert the cable into the Ethernet port on the back of the MiniCapt Remote Microbial
Air Sampler.

To connect the Ethernet cable to the local network:

for Modbus TCP/IP Ethernet configuration.
