5.2.7. Gateway Setup
Your Parklio gateways are factory-set with DHCP enabled, which allows them to
configure their IP addresses, default gateways, and DNS settings. For your specific
installation site's network connectivity, customer configuration is necessary. Detailed
instructions for this process can be found in the Network Configuration chapter. For
gateways utilizing SIM-enabled cellular networks, pre-configuration for cellular
connectivity will be provided based on your prior arrangement with the Parklio
Engineering team.
If your network incorporates a firewall, you might need to enable gateway access to
the required remote hosts. The list of services is provided below:
