Caution Please note the following differences between the new and legacy
products:
•
Both products have a single configurable (RS-232, RS-422, RS-485)
communications port; COM1 on the new models and COM2 on the legacy
models.
•
Pinouts between the new and legacy models differ slightly, please refer to
the Cable Wiring examples and pinout charts above.
LAN1/LAN2 Ports
The XT/IX/PCA PowerStations provide two standard RJ45 Ethernet ports with full duplex operation at
10/100/1000 Mb/s and half duplex operation at 10/100 Mb/s. Both ports provide auto Media Independent
Interface (MDI) speed negotiation and auto MDI-X cable crossover (patch cables) support at all speeds. The
RJ45 connectors provide ACTIVE (green) and LINK (green/amber) LED respectively located at the left-
hand and right-hand side of the Ethernet ports that indicate the activity and transmission speed of the
LAN.
