3.5. Cooling
In compliance with the CEI 60034-1 standards:
3.5.1.
General recommendations
Danger:
The cooling system has to be operational when the motor is
running or energized.
Danger:
The Inlet temperature and the water flow have to be monitored
to avoid any damage.
Caution:
When motor is not running, the cooling system has to be
stopped 10 minutes after the motor shut down to avoid condensation.
Caution:
Condensation and risk of rust may occur when the
temperature gradient between the air and the water becomes
significant.
Caution:
the ambient air temperature shall not exceed 40°C in the
vicinity of the motor flange.
Danger: If the water flow stops, the motor can be damaged or
destroyed causing accidents.
