Hexadecimal Representation of Trips
When more than one trip is to be represented at the same time then the trip codes are simply added together to form the value
displayed. Within each digit, values between 10 and 15 are displayed as letters A to F
For example referring to the tables above, if the ACTIVE TRIPS parameter is
02A8,
then this represents:
a
“
2
” in digit 3
an “8” and a “2” in digit 2
(8+2 = 10, displayed as
A
)
an
“
8
” in digit 1
This in turn represents the active trips BRAKE RESISTOR, MOTOR STALLED, INPUT 1 BREAK and HEATSINK TEMP,
(an unlikely situation).
In the same way, the ACTIVE TRIPS + parameter displaying
02A8
would represent CURRENT LIMIT, DESAT (OVER I),
TRIP 22 and 24V failure, (another unlikely situation).
The hexadecimal value is used over comms, however, pressing the M key whilst displaying the hexadecimal trip value will
show the list of all trips and their current values
