Cleaning tips
NEVER USE:
metal brushes or steel wool, which can damage the surface coating,
high pressure water jets, which can damage the seals or allow water to enter
the housing,
solvents on transparent materials (panels etc.),
compressed air, which could lead to damage due to the projection of items
(dust, sand, debris etc.).
11.1
Precautions relating to the use of chemicals
Use protective equipment appropriate for the cleaning materials used:
chemical-proof gloves, protective goggles etc.
If possible, rinse the cleaned surface with water.
After use, dispose of instruments or recipients that have been in contact
with chemicals through an appropriate disposal circuit.
11.2
Cleaning the outside
The outside surface coating is designed to allow the removal of graffiti and
stickers.
Clean the outside surfaces with a soap solution.
Clean with water and dry after cleaning.
If a soap solution is not effective enough, use a solvent that is
appropriate for the material of the surface to clean,
and proceed with
caution
.
First carry out a test on a small area in a concealed location.
Instructions specific to some parts:
Never use
solvents with chlorine or bleach on parts made of
stainless steel or aluminium
.
Use only isopropyl alcohol
for cleaning components made of
transparent polycarbonate
(panels, bowl cover etc.).
Use only acetone
for cleaning the
solar panel
.
Use only solvent F or methylated spirit
for cleaning the
extended
keyboard sticker
.
