Removing and reattaching the chassis cladding

12.2

Removing and reattaching the side cladding

The chassis cladding can be removed for maintenance, repair or

cleaning.

Take the following steps in the following sequence when removing and

reattaching the side cladding:

›

Loosen and remove knurled screws



›

Remove rear cladding.

)

See Section "12.1 Removing and reattaching the chassis clad-

ding"

›

Raise the side cladding at rear.

›

Disconnect the cable for the front headlight and directional indica-

tor



at the connection.

›

Remove side cladding from the front.

›

Reassemble in the opposite sequence.

Make sure the plastic washers are present, as they protect the

chassis components from damage.
