11.2.5 Flap security device
If you have used the manual release for the extension/ retraction mo-
vement, it is essentail to use the flap securtty device until the lift has
been repaired!
The mechanical emergency flap security device can be fitted on the
left side of the cassette. It consists of a red metal angle and a knurled
screw.
Once this step has been correctly carried out, it will not be possible to
pull the platform out of the cassette and you can continue with your
journey..
