New Installation using Paramount venturi
installation kit.
TO COMPLETE THIS INSTALLATION YOU
WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING ITEMS (NOT
INCLUDED)
- (2) 2” X 2” X ¾” SLIP TEE
- (1) ¾” X ¾” UNION BALL VALVE
- (2) 2” VALVES ¾” FITTINGS AND PIPE
- (2) ¾” UNIONS
NOTE: ¾” PLUMBING CAN BE 2” IF
NEEDED FOR STRENGTH
1. Install two ea. 2" valves, and two each
2" X 2" by ¾" slip tees. One valve and one
slip tee on the suction side of the pump and
one slip tee and valve on the return side of
the pump (before the heater). (Fig. 24)
2. Plumb ¾" slip tee PVC from pressure side
tee into a union ball valve. (Fig. 25A)
3. Plumb ¾" PVC from the ball valve into the
inlet side of the venturi (coming from the
return line after the filter before the heater if
it has one.) (Fig. 25B)
4. Plumb ¾" PVC from the suction side tee
to a ball valve and union and then into the
outlet side of the venturi. Note: The venturi
must be level and removable for cleaning.
The flow arrow on the venturi must point
to show the flow to the suction side of the
pump. (Fig. 25B)
