Minimal Configuration Before Deploying Remote Units

At a minimum, the following configuration options must be set before deploying a
a FrameSaver unit to a remote site:

Node IP Address

Node Subnet Mask

Configuring Node IP Information

in Chapter 8, Configuration Options, for

these options.

Entering and Displaying System Information

Use the Device Name screen to name the system, and to change or display the
general SNMP system name, location, and contact for the unit.

Procedure

1. Follow this menu selection sequence:

you want to add or change information.

The following information is available for viewing. Use the right and left arrow
keys to scroll additional text into view.

Time

Current time in

the hours:minutes format (hh:mm).
