 Operation

ARC – Anthem Room Correction: Factory Default = Off

Enables or disables ARC

 (Anthem Room Correction).

To enable ARC

, please refer to the “ARC

 (Anthem Room Correction)” section in the  

Owner’s Manual for the room calibration procedure.

Once ARC

 has been completed and the file uploaded it will automatically be enabled.

Press   

(Menu) on the Remote or the soundbar’s touch display.

Press   

(Scroll Down) to scroll down to the ARC submenu.  

Press   (Scroll Right) or   (Select) to select the ARC submenu.

Press   (Scroll Down) to scroll down to the desired option, either Off or ON.

Once the desired option is displayed, press   (Scroll Right) or   (Select)  
to select Off or ON.

If the selection was successful the soundbar’s display will indicate Saved.

Wireless Setup

This setup option allows you to Initialize Wi-Fi (PW Soundbar ONLY) or  
Bluetooth Pairing activation.

PW Soundbar ONLY: 

IMPORTANT! We recommend using an Ethernet connection when connecting the soundbar 
to your network. This is the most reliable setup method.

The connection methods vary between the Play-Fi app and AirPlay. 

Wireless Setup:

Press   (Menu) on the Remote or the soundbar’s touch display.

Press   (Scroll Down) to scroll down to Wireless Setup. Press   (Scroll Right) or   (Select) to 
select the Wireless Setup submenu.

Press   (Scroll Down) to scroll down to Initialize WiFi (PW Soundbar ONLY) or Bluetooth Pairing.  

Press   (Scroll Right) or   (Select) to select the Initialize WiFi or Bluetooth Pairing submenu. 
 

 

Initialize Wifi ONLY: 
Press   

(Scroll Down) to scroll down to the desired option, either No or Yes.

 

 

  
If you selected Yes, the soundbar’s display will indicate Resetting

 

If you selected No, the soundbar’s display will indicate No Changes made.

Bluetooth Pairing ONLY:
The soundbar’s display will now indicate pairing mode on.

Learn Remote

This function provides the ability to program a secondary remote. The soundbar will continue to 
respond to the original remote and any programmed secondary remote that you wish to use 
simultaneously.

For a complete list of programmable functions, please refer to the “The Menu System” section 
in the Owner’s Manual.

If the operation was successful the display will indicate Saved
If the operation was not successful the display will indicate Failed
The operation will “Fail” if a command is already in use/programmed.

To Learn (program) a new remote:

Press   (Menu) on the Remote or the soundbar’s touch display.

Press   

(Scroll Down) to scroll down to Learn Remote

Press   

(Scroll Right) or   (Select) to select the Learn Remote submenu. 

Press   (Scroll Down) to scroll down to the command you wish to program. 
Press   (Scroll Right) or   (Select) to select the command submenu (For example:  > ).

 

Push Button will be displayed on the soundbar’s display. 
Holding the Secondary Remote remote approx 12” from the soundbar, push the button you wish 
to program. The soundbar will then respond with “Push Button Again”. Holding the Secondary 
Remote
 remote approx 12” from the soundbar, push the button a second time to confirm. 

 

 

If your selection was successful the soundbar’s display will indicate Saved.

 

 

Power Settings:  

Power Standby / Power On Volume / IP Control / Standby IP

To change the Power 

Standby option:

Press   (Menu) on the Remote or the 
soundbar’s touch display.

Press   (Scroll Down) to scroll down to  
Power Settings. Press   (Scroll Right) 
or   (Select) to select the Power Settings 
submenu.

Press   (Scroll Down) to scroll down to 
Power Settings. Press   (Scroll Right) 
or   (Select) to select the Power Standby 
submenu.

Press   (Scroll Down) to scroll down to the 
desired option, either Auto Standby or Always 
On
.

Once the desired option is displayed, press 

 (Scroll Right) or   (Select) to select Off 

or On.

If your selection was successful the 
soundbar’s display will indicate Saved.

To change the Power–on Vol:

Press   (Menu) on the Remote or the 
soundbar’s touch display.

Press   (Scroll Down) to scroll down to 
Power Settings. Press   (Scroll Right) 
or   (Select) to select the Power Settings 
submenu.

Press   (Scroll Down) to scroll down to 
Power-on Vol. Press   (Scroll Right) or   
(Select) to select the Power-on Vol submenu.

 

Press   

(Scroll Down) to scroll down to the 

desired option, either Set or Last Used. Press 

 (Scroll Right) or   (Select) to select the 

Set submenu. 

 

To decrease the Power-On Volume setting, 
press   (Volume Down). To increase the 
Power-On Volume setting, press   (Volume 
Up)
. When the desired level is displayed, 
press   (Scroll Right) or   (Select) to select 
the desired level. 

If your selection was successful the 
soundbar’s display will indicate Saved.

To enable IP Control:

Press   (Menu) on the Remote or the 
soundbar’s touch display.

Press   (Scroll Down) to scroll down to  
Power Settings. Press   (Scroll Right) 
or   (Select) to select the Power Settings 
submenu.

 

Press   (Scroll Down) to scroll down to IP 
Control
. Press   (Scroll Right) or   (Select) 
to select the IP Control submenu. 

Press   (Scroll Down) to scroll down to the 
desired option, either Off or On. Once the 
desired option is displayed, press   (Scroll 
Right) 
or   (Select) to select Off or On.

 

 

If your selection was successful the 
soundbar’s display will indicate Saved.

To enable Standby IP:

Press   (Menu) on the Remote or the 
soundbar’s touch display.

Press   (Scroll Down) to scroll down to  
Power Settings. Press   (Scroll Right) 
or   (Select) to select the Power Settings 
submenu.

 

Press   (Scroll Down) to scroll down to 
Standby IP. Press   (Scroll Right) or   
(Select) to select the Standby IP submenu.

Press   (Scroll Down) to scroll down to the 
desired option, either Off or On. Once the 
desired option is displayed, press   (Scroll 
Right) 
or   (Select) to select Off or On.

 

If your selection was successful the 
soundbar’s display will indicate Saved.

POWER STANDBY: Factory Default = 
Auto Standby 

Configures the state of the soundbar’s 
power on/Off to Auto Standby or Always On.

In Auto Standby the soundbar will power 
down after 20 minutes if no signal is 
detected. 

POWER ON VOL: Factory Default = -35dB

Adjusts default volume level of the 
soundbar when initially powered on.  
It can be adjusted from -90dB to +10dB*. 

*Maximum volume (+10dB) is not advised.

IP CONTROL: Factory Default: On

Enables/disables the state of the IP 
control. This is only required if using an 
Ethernet/Wi-Fi based home automation 
system.

STANDBY IP: Factory Default = Off
Requires IP Control to be enabled in 
order to function.
Standby IP allows the soundbar to receive 
IP based commands while in standby 
mode.

SETUP GUIDE

Source Name

This option allows users to create custom names for each input. Please refer to the ‘Menu Option: Source Name’ section in the Owner’s Manual for further details regarding this menu.

Service

This submenu offers the ability to perform factory resets and displays information about your soundbar’s current firmware versions & MAC addresses.

USB Upgrade

This menu option is used when performing a USB firmware update.

Upgrade All

Press   

(Scroll Right) or   (Select) to select Upgrade All. This will update your Soundbar’s USB firmware.

Please refer to the ‘USB Update’ section in the Owner’s Manual for further details regarding USB firmware updates.

User Tips

Each button on the remote corresponds to its dedicated input on the soundbar. 
To access a specific input, simply select the corresponding button on the remote. 

 

   Pairing an additional device while on the Bluetooth input: Push & Hold the Bluetooth button on the remote for 4 seconds. The soundbar will emit a tone 

confirming that the broadcast feature is now active and a new device can now be paired. Note! Once the tone is emitted, the original pairing will be cancelled along with the 
media stream. 
 

 

    (PW Soundbar Only) Please refer to the Wireless Setup Guide for iOS and Mac Users for complete instructions on a Network Connection and playback via AirPlay.

Setting up Auto Power On Function (applies to North America ONLY)
To enable the Auto Power On Function, navigate the menu to the following location: Power Settings > Standby IP Control > On. With this setting enabled, the soundbar will 
power on when a signal is detected from the Digital Optical or RCA Inputs.
