Swivelling Saw Blade Guard
Working position:
•
Swivel the guard forwards and tighten the clamping screw in a

clockwise direction.
Do not use tools!

Swivel away:
•
Press lever (

) or (

) backwards and swivel the saw blade guard to the left or right.
•
Swivel the guard back again.
•
Push lever (
1
) or (
2
) forward.

Change Saw Blade Guard
The sliding table saw is delivered with the blade guard already fitted. However, it may be necessary to ex-
change the blade guard.:
a)
If the mounted guard is damaged or defective.
b)
A special (wider) guard must be used for mitre cuts.

Fitting the saw blade guard:
1.
Push the guard (

) to the upper-
most position. position.
2.
Set the lock (

) to the “
Open
”
position so that the protective
hood disengages.
3.
Pull out the guard (
1
) and lay
it down

.
4.
Insert the other guard until it en-
gages and set the lock (
2
) back to
the “
Lock
” position
.
After use, always place the push stick (
3
) in the holder on the guard unit.
The wider saw blade guard must always be fitted when working with a tilted saw blade.

The guard that is not needed can be stored in the storage tray at the rear
(under the tabletop, to the left of the column).
