iNC Network Controller Module – Horizontal PDU’s (MA005)
The iNC Network Controller Module is a hot-swappable network management card that works with the Panduit
SmartZone G5 iPDU series of intelligent power distribution units. It is the “brain” of the PDU that contains the most
complicated and sensitive electronic sub-systems. It is designed for safe removal without disrupting the PDU
hardware operation.
Note:
The iNC Network Control Modules are designed to connect to a SmartZone G5 iPDU only. Connecting it to
another device may result in damage.
INVENTORY
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Using your thumb and index finger, loosen the (2) screws securing the iNC Network Control Module in place
2. Remove the iNC Network Control Module from the PDU chassis
3. Remove all connections from the front of the existing iNC Network Control module (Ethernet, Serial,
Sensor, etc.) and plug them into the front of the replacement iNC Network Control module
NOTE: It is recommended to disconnect and reconnect ports immediately to insure the cables are plugged
into the same ports as before
