Device Operation
Accessing the Web Server
The AT-ANC-108D features a built-in web server, which allows the unit to be configured to control other Atlona
products. By default, the AT-ANC-108D is set to DHCP mode and will automatically by assigned an IP address, if a
DHCP server is present. To access the web server, the IP address of the AT-ANC-108D must be known. This can
be accomplished by more than one method. Running IP scanner software or using the Address Resolution Protocol
(ARP) are two possibilities. When running an IP scanner or using ARP, both the computer and the AT-ANC-108D
must be connected to the same network.
1. Identify the MAC address of the unit by locating the label on the side of the unit.
Figure 1.1
shows a sample label.
The following method uses the
arp
command, which is available from the command line in Windows. The
arp
command will display the IP-to-physical address translation tables used by the Address Resolution Protocol (ARP).
The following procedure can be used for both encoders and decoders.
