10.1.9. Service Mode 9 (System Maintenance)

10.1.9.1. Overview

This Service Mode is used to maintain or update the firmware of the machine. Use the following 
procedure for System Maintenance.

Note:

Now the machine is ready to accept programming firmware code from the PC.

1. Connect the machine to the PC with the USB Cable.
2. Start the Firmware Update Tool using the Wizard.
3. The firmware is copied into the machine.

4.

After the update is completed, the machine reboots itself and returns to standby.

Updates the firmware in the machine with the Master Firmware from the PC.

Transfers documents from memory to another fax machine during a fatal printer error.
