If any error indicator from “ ” to “ ” appears, contact the dealer from which the unit was purchased.
* If “ ” to “ ” or “ ” to “ ” is displayed, press the Contrast Key, release the
error and then take the necessary remedial action.
The printer door is not closed securely.
Close the printer door securely.

Unsupported USB flash memory device is connected.
You cannot use a USB flash memory device that is equipped with certain
features such as a security function or hub function. –
The USB flash memory device connected has been formatted using the
unsupported FAT16 format.
Format the USB flash memory device using FAT32 format on a computer.
All data on the USB flash memory device is lost when the USB flash memory
device is formatted. –
Write-protection is set on the USB flash memory device.
Cancel the write-protection.
–
The following folders for storing images on the USB flash memory device are set
to “read only”:
UB-5335: “UB-5335”, UB-5835: “UB-5835”,
UB-5365: “UB-5365”, UB-5865: “UB-5865”
Change folder property to writable using a computer.
–
The maximum value allowed for a sequential number (99) of the file name has
been reached.
Transfer the image files in the following folder on the USB flash memory
device to another location.*
UB-5335: “UB-5335”, UB-5835: “UB-5835”,
UB-5365: “UB-5365”, UB-5865: “UB-5865”

There is no available space in the USB flash memory device.
Increase the available space using a computer.*

The available space in the USB flash memory device became full while scanning.
Increase the available space using a computer, then scan again.*

USB flash memory device writing error occurred.
Check whether the USB flash memory device is written normally using a
computer.* –
USB flash memory device was removed while scanning.
Connect the USB flash memory device, then scan again.*

The USB cable connecting the computer and the unit was removed while scanning.
Connect the USB cable for computer securely, then scan again.*

The screen will not move.
Remove any chart paper attached to the screen and slowly move the screen
by hand.* –
The image sensor or screen is in strong sunlight or strong lighting.
Change the direction of the unit or block the light.*

There is writing outside of the copying area on the screen film, or the area is dirty.
After advancing, manually move the screen film 20 cm (7 7 /

in.) to the right
from the position at which it stopped, then erase or clean off the writing on the
entire screen shown. (Both the front and back)*
