Why Panasonic plasma displays are recommended

Sometimes, when replacing a 4:3 ratio display with a 16:9 model, the screen can seem

Because of this, the ideal display is one where the image is
beautiful from any angle — which is another important plasma
display advantage.
Wide viewing angle
The ideal viewing distance for a high-definition display
is about 3 times the screen height. Because the
images are free of colour bleeding and flicker, there is
less strain on the eyes even when viewed from close
up. Guests can enjoy stunningly beautiful images on
a 42-inch model from only about 1.5 meters away.
* The ideal viewing distance for a conventional CRT model
with a 4:3 aspect ratio is about 5 to 7 times the screen height.
The plasma display is only about 1/6 as thick as a CRT
model, so it's even easier to provide the ideal viewing
distance. This is an important plasma display advantage.
