2-4-1 Installing the Mounting Brackets
CAUTION
●
To allow selection of mounting brackets that are appropriate for the installation environment,
mounting brackets are not provided with the device. Please purchase the separately available
mounting brackets that match your environment.
●
Do not forcibly bend or otherwise apply a load to the cables of the device. Risk of wire breakage.
●
The minimum bending radius of the cables is R6mm. Keep the minimum bending radius of the
cables in mind during installation.
●
Make sure that stress by forcible bend or pulling is not applied to the sensor cable joint.
●
If you install mounting brackets after connecting the bottom-cap cable and series connection
cable to the device, move the cables to the other side of the mounting socket when tightening
the hex head cap bolt to prevent tangling of the cables.

Mount the emitter and the receiver at the same level and parallel to each other. The effective
aperture angle of the device is ±2.5° or less for a sensing range of 3m.
●
Unless otherwise indicated, the mounting procedures that follow are for both the emitter and re-
ceiver. Prior to mounting, prepare mounting holes in the mounting surface as described in
