Advanced Operation
• The FREEZE function works the same
way during VCR or DVD playback.
• When DVD and VCR pictures are played
back on Main Picture and PIP, pressing
FREEZE only freezes the PIP screen
while actual playback continues.
Cancelling freeze frame restores
playback picture in progress.
• A freeze frame PIP reverts to a normal
(moving) picture when the PIP and the
Main Picture are swapped.

Display MAIN MENU.
Press ACTION*.
You can choose “NORMAL” or “SMALL” PIP size.
Picture in Picture (PIP) SIZE Setup
SWAP Picture
You can switch the PIP and Main Picture source.
Swap the Picture source.
Press SWAP.
FREEZE Picture into PIP
You can create a freeze frame PIP of the Main Picture.
Freeze the Main Picture as a
PIP screen.
Press FREEZE.
Still Picture
Change PIP back to a
moving picture.
Press FREEZE.
• With PIP displayed, each press of FREEZE will freeze and
unfreeze the PIP.
To remove PIP, press the PIP button.
*Important:
if a remote control button does not work when pressed, press the , DVD button on the remote and try the button again.
