This setting is not available in the following cases:

- [SYSTEM MODE] is set to [1080-50i], and
the [REC FORMAT] item is set to other than
[DVCPROHD/50i].
- Clip connection is underway with one-clip
recording.

SCAN REVERSE
Compensates image inversion that occurs when a lens for filming or anamorphic
lens is mounted.

ASPECT CONV
Selects aspect ratio for images recorded with 480i or 576i.

This setting is not available when the [SYSTEM
MODE] item is [1080-59.94i], [1080-23.98PsF],
[1080-50i], [720-59.94P], or [720-50P].

This setting is not available when clip connection
is underway with one-clip recording.
[SIDE CROP]
Side-crop mode (Crops the left and right edges.)
[LETTER BOX]
Letterbox mode (Adds black bands at the top and bottom of the
image.)
[SQUEEZE]
Squeeze mode (Squeezes images horizontally.)
SETUP
Sets the setup level of video signals for 480i.

This item is not displayed when the [SYSTEM
MODE] item is set to [1080-50i], [720-50P], or
[576-50i].
[0%]
Composite output and recording setup levels will both be set
to 0%.
[7.5%A]
Composite output setup level will be set to 7.5%, while
recording setup level will be set to 0%.
SHOOTING MODE
Sets the shooting mode according to the shooting environment.

[TURN POWER OFF] is displayed when the setting is changed. Turn off the
power of the camera once, and turn it on again.

If [NORMAL] is selected, the [
−
3dB] in the [LOW
GAIN] item, [MID GAIN] item, and [HIGH GAIN]
item of the [SW MODE] screen on the setting
menu are displayed in blue. This will operate at
[0dB] even when set.
Also, the [GAIN:18dB] item assigned to the
<USER MAIN>, <USER1>, and <USER2>
buttons becomes invalid and deactivated.

[L.L.] displayed when [LOW LIGHT] is selected
appears only when the [OTHER DISPLAY] item
on the setting menu [DISPLAY SETUP] screen is
set to [PARTIAL] or [ALL].
[NORMAL]
Select this when shooting in an environment with normal
brightness.
[LOW LIGHT]
Select this when shooting in a dark environment.

<B> position and this menu is set to [Bch],
pressing the <USER> buttons (<USER
MAIN>/<USER1>/<USER2>) to which the auto
tracking white balance function is assigned
does not turn off the auto tracking white balance
function.
[Bch]
Activates the auto tracking white balance function when the
<WHITE BAL> switch is set to the <B> position.
[OFF]
Does not assign the auto tracking white balance function to the
<WHITE BAL> switch.
ATW SPEED
Sets the control speed of the auto tracking white balance.
[FAST]
A slightly faster setting than [NORMAL].
[NORMAL]
Normal setting.
[SLOW]
A slightly slower setting than [NORMAL].
W.BAL.PRESET
Sets the color temperature assigned to the <PRST> position of the <WHITE BAL>
switch.
Each time the <AUTO W/B BAL> switch is pushed towards the <AWB> side,
color temperature can be switched to 3200 K, 5600 K, and user-specified variable
value.
[3.2K], [5.6K], [VAR]

The color temperature when [VAR] is selected is
set at the [CAM03:SETUP] screen of SmartUI.
It can be set using the jog dial button, by
assigning the [F.JOG CT] function to the <USER>
indicates factory setting values.
