Cleaning the ironing cloth

When the ironing cloth is dirty, remove the ironing cloth by

reversing the steps in “Assembling the steam iron” on page 10

and wash it.

After each use

1. Place the iron head into the iron holder

    properly.

2. Turn off the power button and disconnect

    the power plug.

3. Take out the water tank from the power

base, open the water inlet cap, shake the

water tank to clean its inner wall with the

remaining water (or with the proper amount

of water refilled) and then drain the water

tank. After that, tighten the water inlet cap

and attach the water tank back into the

    power base.
4. Check that the lock button on the telescopic

pole is locked securely, lift the whole

product by holding both telescopic poles

with your hands, and move the product to

    a safe place for storage.

Notes:

a.Be sure to use both hands because the

   power base is pretty heavy.

b.Before moving the product, make sure

that the water tank is empty.

After use

•

Cleaning the iron head

After each use, wipe the surface of the

iron head and the soleplate with a

soft cloth.

For stubborn stains, use a soft cloth

dipped with neutral detergent to clean.

•

Cleaning the soleplate surface

If glue or the like sticks to the soleplate

surface, wipe it with a wet cloth.

•

Cleaning the steam vents

If scale appears on the steam vents, remove the scale with a

bamboo stick, and then wipe the soleplate with a wet cloth.

•

Cleaning the filter

When the product has been used for a long time, the filter in

the power base may be clogged by dirt, thus reducing steam

or preventing steam from coming out. If the filter is clogged,

use a cotton swab or fine cotton cloth to clean the filter.

Cleaning

Notes:

a.After use, leave the product to cool down for more than

60 minutes before any cleaning or maintenance.

b.Never use such cleaning products as the thinner, cleanser

and volatile solvent to wash the product. Otherwise

   damages may be caused.
