Taking pictures automatically at set intervals
[Time Lapse Shot]
Recording mode:
You can preset data such as recording start time and time lapse to take still pictures
automatically. This setting is convenient for taking pictures at constant intervals for
landscape scenes, observation of the gradual changes in animals/plants, and other
applications. The pictures are recorded as a set of group pictures

Press to select the item and press [MENU/SET]

Starts the recording by fully-pressing the shutter button.

Set the time to start recording. Any time up to 23 hours
59 minutes ahead can be set.
Press to select the item (hour and/or minute),
and to set the start time, and press [MENU/SET]

•You can set the interval from 1 second to 99 minutes 59 seconds in
1-second intervals.
•You can set the number of pictures to be recorded from 1 picture to 9,999
pictures.
•Be sure to use an interval setting that is longer than the exposure time
(shutter speed) . (Illustration below)
If the interval setting is shorter than the exposure time (shutter speed)
(e.g. recording at night), it may cause the recording to skip.

•The camera may not be able to record using the preset interval and number
of pictures to be recorded under some recording conditions.
