9. Using Menu Functions
[HDMI Mode (Play)]:
Set the format for the HDMI output when playing back on the HDMI compatible TV and monitor
connected with this unit using the HDMI cable.
[HDMI Info Display (Rec)]:
Sets whether to display or hide information while monitoring the camera image being
recorded on a TV connected with an HDMI cable.
[VIERA Link]:
If you select [ON], operations of the camera and the VIERA Link compatible equipment
connected to the camera with an HDMI cable are automatically linked, enabling you to control
the camera with the remote control of the VIERA Link compatible equipment.
Set the language displayed on the screen.
This enables the firmware versions of the camera and lens to be checked.
[TV Connection]
[AUTO]
Outputs images at an output resolution suited to the
connected TV.
[4K/50p]/[4K/25p]/[1080p]/[1080i]/
[720p]/[576p]
Outputs images at the selected resolution.
• The output resolution for [4K/50p] and [4K/25p] is
3840

2160.
• Even when [4K/50p] or [4K/25p] is set, MP4 motion
pictures recorded with [4K/150M/60p] or [4K/150M/30p]
will be output at a resolution of [4K/60p] or [4K/30p].
• Even when [576p] is set, depending on the connected
TV, images will be output at a resolution of [480p].
• This will work only during playback.
• If no image appears on your TV when [AUTO] is set, switch to a setting other than [AUTO] that
can display images on the TV.
[Language]
• If you set a different language by mistake, select [

] from the menu icons to set the desired
language.
[Version Disp.]
• To display information about the software on the unit, press [MENU/SET] on the version
display screen.
