The programme is overlap with another programme.
F
The disc was full or the maximum number of programmes or
scenes was reached so the programme failed to record.
The programme was copy-guarded so the programme failed
to record.
TV system of the programme is different from the setting in
SETUP, so the programme failed to record.
X The programme did not complete recording because the
disc is dirty or some other reason.
Disc space ( B )
OK : Displayed if the recording can fit in the remaining
space on the disc.
#
(Date) : For recordings made daily or weekly, the display
will show until when recordings can be made
based on the time remaining on the disc.
! : Displayed if the disc is not inserted in the unit or is
write-protected (pages 28, 61) or there is not
enough memory capacity left on the disc.

Programmes that failed to record are deleted from the list at 4
a.m. the day after tomorrow.

The unit cannot go to timer recording standby if the disc is
protected (pages 28, 61) or full (“ ” flashes). Check the disc
carefully.

To release the unit from recording standby
If you want to record something else before the programme start
time, for example:
