5 Operation of the laser marking system
5.5.2 Automatically switch to remote mode at power-on
In the “System settings” screen, you can specify that the laser marking system will
automatically start in remote mode when you turn on the key switch.
In case of an emergency stop or an interlock, re-pumping of the laser marking system will
be necessary. For safety reasons, construct a laser re-pumping system which must be
operated by hand.
• To use this function, you need to make all settings in the configuration software in
advance.
• If the laser marking system starts in remote mode, you cannot switch remote mode on
and off by external devices.
1. Establish an online connection between your PC and the laser marking system.
2. Go to the “System settings” screen and select “Operation/information”.
3. For “Remote mode switching method”, select “PC configuration software”.
4. For “Remote mode at power-on”, select “ON”.
5. Select “Apply to laser marking system” in the ribbon.
6. Disconnect the online connection with the laser marking system.
7. Turn off the power of the laser marking system, wait five seconds and then restart the
system.
Do not turn off the power supply during an online connection with your PC. Otherwise a data loss or
system failure may occur.
The laser marking system will automatically start in remote mode.
