Using RAMDiscTool
Starting RAMDiscTool
From the Start menu, select [Programs]
→
[Panasonic DVD-RAM]
→
[DVD-RAM driver]
→
[RAMDiscTool].
• The following window for non-cartridge discs is shown.
• Select the drive and click on the buttons for the items you want to use.
The version number of the soft-
ware is shown if you click here.

Write-Protect Setting
Insert the 4.7 GB DVD-RAM disc to be set or released into the drive and click on the “Write-
Protect Setting” button in the window shown above.
The following window is shown.
Displays the write-protect condition of the disc
currently loaded.
To return to the first window.
To set the selected mode (saves the setting to the disc)
Write-enables the disc.
The disc can be used for reading and writing.
Write-protects the disc.
The disc can only be used for reading.
