2.4.1
Power Failure Transfer
Description
If the power supply to the PBX fails, specific single line telephones (SLTs) are automatically connected to
specific CO lines (
Power Failure Connections
). The PBX will switch from the current connections to Power
Failure Connections, and all existing conversations will be disconnected.
Only CO line conversations handled by Power Failure Connections can be made during a power failure.
Conditions
•
Only ports 1 and 2 of the preinstalled LCOT4 card and ports 1 and 2 of the Super Hybrid ports can be
used for Power Failure Connections.
Note
When power is restored to the PBX and the Main Board is recovering, Power Failure Connections
remain established so that any existing conversations can be maintained.
•
Only CO line conversations are possible during a power failure. All other features will not work.

Power Failure Restart
Description
When the electricity is turned back on, the PBX restarts, loads its stored data automatically, and logs the
event as a System Restart in the error log.
Conditions
•
In the event of a power failure, PBX memory is protected by a factory-installed lithium battery. There is
no memory loss except the memories of Automatic Callback Busy (Camp-on) (

Local Alarm Information
Description
When the PBX detects an error, the System Alarm button on the proprietary telephone (PT) of an extension
which is allowed to use this feature through system programming (a maximum of two extensions per PBX),
lights red. Pressing the button will show the error number on the display. If multiple errors occur, the error
