2.3 Information about the Main Processing Card
2.3.1 DMPR Card
Function
Contains the main processor for all processes, basic shelf main protocol, time switch (TSW) control, detection
of system clock alarm, basic shelf power down alarm, and watchdog timer overflow. An RMT card can be
mounted on the DMPR card (refer to "2.3.2 RMT Card (KX-TDA0196)").

WARNING
A lithium battery is used in the DMPR card. There is a risk of explosion if the battery is replaced
with the incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
CAUTION
•
The SD Memory Card contains software for all the processes of the PBX and all the customer data. It
can be easily removed and taken away from the PBX by a third party. Therefore, do not allow
unauthorised access to prevent data leakage.
•
Do not remove the SD Memory Card while power is supplied to the PBX. Doing so may cause the PBX
to fail to start when you try to restart the system.
•
To prevent data leakage, render the SD Memory Card physically unusable before disposal.
Notice
•
Use only the SD Memory Card included with the PBX, or a Panasonic optional upgrade SD Memory
Card.
