Sending a call waiting tone (Busy Station Signalling [BSS])

The other party will know your call is waiting.

•

If "BSS" is not displayed or you hear a reorder tone, this feature is not set at the other
party's phone. This feature is only available if the called extension has set the "Call Waiting"
feature.

•

Depending on the other party's telephone, the "Off-Hook Call Announcement [OHCA]"
or the "Whisper OHCA" function can be applied. You can talk to the other party through the
speaker and the microphone (OHCA) or you only send a call announcement through the
handset (Whisper OHCA), while they are having another conversation using the handset.

•

Whisper OHCA is activated when both you and the other party are using one of the KX-
T7400 series PTs.
