2.14.3 Camera tampering detection
This section explains how to set up KX-NTV150/KX-NTV160 tamper detection. With tamper detection, the
KX-NTV150/KX-NTV160 is capable of detecting incidents such as redirection, blocking or unfocusing, or even
spray paint.
Please follow the steps below to set up the KX-NTV150/KX-NTV160 tamper detection function:
1.
Enter the tamper trigger duration (10 seconds-10 minutes). The tamper alarm will be triggered only when
the tampering factor (the difference between current frame and pre-saved background) exceeds the trigger
threshold. Conditions such as image too dark, too bright, or too blurry (unfocused) can also be configured
as tampering conditions.

You can configure Tampering Detection as a trigger element to the proactive event configurations in

Event settings
®
Trigger. For example, when the KX-NTV150/KX-NTV160 is tampered with,
KX-NTV150/KX-NTV160 can be configured to send pre- and post-event video clips to a networked storage
