2 Preparation
Connections and Setup
2.1 Connections
Caution:

When you operate this product, the power outlet
should be near the product and easily
accessible.

Be sure to use the telephone line cord supplied
with this unit.
L
Do not extend the telephone line cord.
*1 The power cord or telephone line cord may differ
slightly. Use the appropriate power cord or telephone
line cord for where you use the unit.
Note:

If any other device is connected to the same
telephone line, this unit may disturb the network
condition of the device.

If you use the unit with a computer and your internet
provider instructs you to install a filter (

connect it as follows.

A telephone handset cannot be connected directly to
this unit. To talk to the other party, please connect an
extension telephone.

Connect to a single telephone line jack.

and Latin America according to the location
setting feature.
The default setting is Middle East. To change the
location setting, see page 55 (feature #114).
