4.16 Smooth
This image filter removes the protrusions and indentations appearing in characters
and patterns.
When five or six surrounding pixels have a different color, this function inverts the
pixel concerned. It enables the size of files to be reduced when they are compressed
with no accompanying loss of image information.

Remove black noise first
The black pixels are processed before processing the white pixels.
Remove black corners
The protruding black pixels in the corners are removed.
Remove white corners
The protruding white pixels in the corners are removed.
IMPORTANT NOTE:

The pixel processed is the one which is surrounded by five or six pixels with the
opposite color. Both white and black pixels are processed.
