Preset Scan Mode
Note
•
The file names of images pushed by Preset Scan Mode are as follows.
Destination File name
E-mail “Host name”-M-“5 digits of serial number”.*
SMB “Host name”-S-“5 digits of serial number”.*
FTP “Host name”-F-“5 digits of serial number”.*

Limits of the image data size and the number of pages are as follows.
Destination Data size, number of pages Remarks

20 MB. Refer to “ SMTP ”.

FTP 512 MB or 999 pages
Notice
•
If a Factory Reset is performed on the unit, the numbering applied to file names pushed to FTP or SMB will
also be reset. Therefore, you should assign a different folder path from the existing one to prevent existing
data from unexpectedly being overwritten.
•
Preset scan does not support FTPS and SFTP. To send the scanned data using FTPS or SFTP, use Image
Capture Plus.
•
When sending data over FTP, there is a risk of leakage of account information, etc.
Preparation
Configure the network settings
You should configure the network settings using the LCD on the unit, Network Setting Tool, or Configuration Web.
Configure the scanning conditions using Configuration Web

Launch Configuration Web.
•
Refer to “ Launch Configuration Web ” for details.

Open the Server tab and configure the settings that you will use.
•
If you use e-mail, you should configure SMTP Settings.
•
If you use shared folders (SMB), you should configure Share Folder List.
•
If you use FTP, you should configure FTP Server List.
