Replacing the SIM Card
CAUTION
l
The replacement of SIM card is to be done at Panasonic site.
If you need to replace SIM card on your own, carefully follow the instruction below.
Please be informed that replacing SIM card by yourself indicates that you are replacing on your responsibility and risk.
When replacing the SIM card, follow the steps below.
1. Remove the edge of hand strap passing through the clip.
2. Tip the clip back to pull it out of the computer.
3. Open up the whole hand strap.
4. Remove the 4 screws fixed to the board using a Phillips head screwdriver and
remove the board beforehand.
5. Slide the latch to the unlocked position, and raise the battery pack.
6. Remove the screws (A) and the SIM card slot cover (B).
7. (Removing)
Press the card so it comes out of the slot, then draw it straight out.
(Inserting)
Insert the SIM card (C) into the SIM card slot with the contact side (D) facing
downward and with the cut corner oriented as shown in the illustration.
CAUTION
l
Do not insert the SIM card upside down.
8. Close the SIM card slot cover.
9. Close the battery pack until it touch to the secured position.
NOTE
l
If the waterproof sheet of the battery pack (E)
has adhered around the pin of the computer (F),
do the following procedure, and then, attach the
battery pack.
1. Remove the waterproof sheet both on the
battery pack side and computer side.
2. Attach the supplied waterproof sheet to the
battery pack.
10. Attach the board by 4 screws.
11. Close the whole hand strap.
